Tanglewood, a Petz Kennels and Cattery

I have a lot of breeding projects that are about 5 generations deep. This page is for the projects that made it all the way to 8 gens. I typically go to Behindthename.com and pick a group of names by Usage and use all the names in a list for projects. So that's why there's "Nordic" or "Azerbaijani" lines. Others, like the Locations lines are just that, location names that start with the next letter of the alphabet for each generation. Gen 1 = A names, Gen 8 = H names. And still others were just cobbled together over the years so their names are more random.

Entwined Love Maine Coons

This line is named for my first pet, Love. Show name: Entwined Love of Roses. It's also my username in most places. I don't remember which came first! Any pet that is a decendent of Love uses the "Entwined Love" prefix instead of Tangle. I don't have all the pets from this line any more, but I have a few and I still have Love. Only Etoile, Mistletoe, Soul, and Niate don't have the SGCh title yet. Perio and Mirelo are actively being shown.

Nordic Maine Coons

I bred this line of Maine Coons at the beginning of June 2025 over the course of a couple of days. I had wanted to do it for a while, but Petz Life's Camp Petz had a create an NIB line for acorns so I got to sooner rather than later. I debated about how many of these petz to keep, and settled on 4th gens and up. I haven't started showing these guys yet.

Azerbaijani Persals

Persals are my selective breed. They're Persians with Alley spots. I started breeding them back in 2006 when I was last in the Petz Community and I wanted to make them a selective breed back then too.

Persals Second Line

I started this line recently because I wanted to have new petz to share when I shared my selective breed standard. It's a work in progress. This line includes Persian markings from Ferality's Persian OW.

Locations A-H Dalmatians

This is the first major breeding project I started since returning to the PC last year. I didn't really have goals to begin with, but ended up chasing after spotless & colored coats.

Dali Line One

I had started some dali lines 15 years ago and they were sort of lackluster. I still had some files so I rebred the four 5th gen dogs to hopefully get nicer genetics. I combined those (E-named) dogs with other smaller lines I had to make a full line. But because I felt bad, I kept the old dogs too. Hence while there's extra 5th gens here.
